The company said in a statement that it had shown "great interest" in the topic of gaming zones in Crimea at the Russian Games Week in Moscow in early June. Therefore, it has decided to set up a Crimean Games conference scheduled for Aug. 22 in the Crimean resort city of Yalta.

The meeting will focus on the potential of future gaming zones in Crimea and discuss potential opportunities for investors, according to organizers.

Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimean region after Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was ousted in March after he decided to abandon a trade and cooperation agreement with the European Union to build closer ties with Moscow.
