AI supports SOFTSWISS fraud prevention, player delivery, and game design

Online game software provider Softwis says it is using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help its iGaming operators work against fraud.
"AI is an effective tool for analyzing large data sets in real time," Vitali Matsukevich, chief operating officer of SOFTSWISS, said in a press release Wednesday.
SOFTSWISS' anti-fraud team within Managed Services reportedly helped operators save more than 16 million euros ($17.8 million) in 2022 by processing 61,810 data analytics requests. The company said it would have been "nearly impossible" if it had to rely entirely on humans for its work.
Although Mr Matsukevich pointed out that the "final decision" of these investigative work "should be left to the experts."
He added, "Given all the speed and efficiency, we can't put all the blame for business decisions on artificial intelligence."
Nevertheless, the SOFTSWISS research and development (R&D) department was able to use machine learning to develop a real-time data analysis tool that detects suspicious cases and informs fraud prevention team experts.
SOFTSWISS also assessed the quality of its affiliate traffic with a recent update and said, "The group's ability to ensure a safe and reliable iGaming environment has improved."
Another tool created by the SOFTSWISS R&D team is business metric monitoring and management, known internally as 'BM3'. It is described as a machine learning-based system that analyzes key business metrics and identifies deviations in near real time.
"BM3 helps you identify potential issues more efficiently than traditional rule-based solutions, so you can quickly detect and troubleshoot your business and avoid financial losses," SOFTSWISS said in an update Wednesday.
The company said another area where AI has proven its efficiency is player management. The company's "DOSIER" system analyzes players' behavior and predicts their behavior, allowing operators to make "timely and customized suggestions."
AI is also used to personalize content for athletes in the SOFTSWISS sportsbook. AI-based tools enable events to be displayed according to athletes' preferences. The system collects real-time data on athletes' activities and then delivers the most relevant content, including suggested events that are particularly attractive to a particular or similar group of athletes.
Mr. Matsukevich observed, "When it comes to players, this approach reduces the time between bets and helps increase their volume and player's LTV." The latter is a reference to a player's "lifetime worth" playing a particular game or game activity.
SOFTSWISS COO said, "As players easily find exciting events tailored to their preferences, the gaming experience becomes more enjoyable, which has a positive impact on overall business performance."
