On the refusal to accept EU identity documents as proof of age in pubs and bars in the United Kingdom

The petitioner states that they were not served alcoholic drinks, when they were out with a group of friends in a pub in Leicester, United Kingdom, because their French national identity documents were not accepted as proof of age. Also, the petitioner considers this action discriminatory based on nationality. The petitioner asks the European Parliament to investigate the refusal to accept EU identity documents as proof of age in British pubs and bars, and the possible discrimination against non-British clients.
