On objections to an EU-funded helicopter service in the UK

The petitioner objects to the EU RDF support to the resurrection of the helicopter service between Penzance, Cornwall UK, and the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall UK. The petitioner points out that that the previous service had been closed due to lack of economic viability and considers that the new one is unwarranted, as there are already ship and fixed-wing services currently operating. The petitioner is concerned about the health and environmental impact of the new project.
