Dear petitioners,

By signing the petition ‘Save Combined Transport’, you have sent a strong message in support of the future of rail freight transport. On behalf of the initiative, we would like to thank you warmly for this.
The petition has now closed with over 1,300 signatures. However, our joint commitment to combined transport continues. This is because the challenges facing rail freight transport remain unchanged – and with them the need to campaign for better political and economic conditions.

Thanks to your support and the attention the petition has generated, the industry’s concerns and demands have been brought into the political debate. The challenges facing combined transport are now much more firmly anchored in the minds of political decision-makers. Unfortunately, however, the swift political decisions we believe are necessary to support combined transport during the corridor modernisation programme have yet to materialise.

The organisers of the initiative will therefore continue their work with determination. TX Logistik, Hupac and Kombiverkehr will continue to campaign vigorously for the sustainable strengthening of rail and combined transport – in the interests of the industry, the business community and climate protection.
