Bearing 3 signatures, on an alleged violation of EU workers’ rights in Iceland

The petitioners state that they represent a group of 30 Romanian workers in Iceland whose labour and privacy rights were allegedly violated by their employer and the Icelandic authorities. They claim that they were subject to discrimination and abuse, did not receive compensation for overtime and were paid as non-skilled workers despite being skilled. They also argue that the Icelandic authorities have failed to provide access to legal remedies and to protect their rights.
