We aim to create a petition anyone affected can sign and we want those petitions to be brought to the EU parliament. The new proposed (https://www.euronews.com/next/2022/03/31/eu-lawmakers-target-crypto-transfers-in-battle-against-money-laundering) and the consequent law that could be announced in June this year could label us, a group of friends, participating in the larger global NFT, Defi, and crypto community as criminals. We want to make sure that NEVER happens and so we have organized to make this petition to defend the interest of anyone who wants their rights as part of the fastest-growing tech sector to have ownership of their own digital wallets to participate in the global cross-borderless markets without imposing restrictions on countries outside the EU who have NO such laws in place, precisely, because they are a breach of privacy and create hurdles that cost billions of euros to fix which can not be of benefit of the common man what-so-ever. We at 24acht GmbH here in Germany will be absolutely fearing for our livelihoods in the crypto space and consider rethinking our stance of supporting such an unlawful excuse that we are "combatting criminals" when each transfer has to be documented and a KYC (know-your-customer) restriction will force businesses to cut ties with us indefinitely. That is what the future will be if we, the people, of the EU countries do not STAND AGAINST these regulations. We welcome anyone from ALL around the world to sign this petition as it is our very own Democracy at stake. Let's fight the good fight, the fight that we are NOT criminals, we are NOT the oligarchs who send Millions and Billions of euros, dollars, or pounds, but WE will be the ones labeled criminals or put in jail, or financially ruined if we are cut off from our assets, from global businesses and from the rest of the world. Reason

We, 24acht, DEFI enthusiasts, and a rising start-up NFT company will be among millions who will be affected by the decision of the EU Parliament Committees to outrightly ban DEFI and the use of digital wallets without each transfer needing a KYC (Know-your-customer) verification. The decision the EU parliament is willing to make and the implication it will impose on your average person is monstrous. It not only outright bans auto staking
protocols but seizes the funds generated from Defi projects and decentralized ownership yield farms/lending protocols where participants earn as an owner of the network. The legislation is part of the new EU anti-money laundering package and should be taken into full consideration that it aims to "demonize" the average individual who is willing to use technology on his side to transfer a few hundred bucks from one of his wallets to the other or someone more unfortunate who wants to send his war-struck countrymen a few thousand euros without having to go and wait in line for 1 hour depending on where he is at and then wait additionally a few days until his funds are received.
Our NFT project "The Bavarians" is a way to create a new Web3 digital network arising in Germany to the outside world but how can we do that? When we can not impose restrictions on the outside world who have the rights and freedoms and we DO NOT provide their sensitive information which in one hack can be leaked and their lives could be ruined. Will the EU Parliament Committees apologize for each and every leak of data which has been stolen by hackers and other criminals then? This is not to undermine the work done by the EU Parliament Committees work over the years and combat efforts to stop unlawful acts, however, by making a decision that could be interpreted as a ban on crypto transfers, a ban on businesses that received money from wallets that are not KYC, we create a barrier for the "cross-boarder" transfer of wealth and we set-back ourselves for failure.
