We, people around the world, are asking VISA and Mastercard to support Ukraine and Ukrainian people.

Gerekçe

Large businesses like Visa and Mastercard should also take a stand in the Russian war against Ukraine. The power of multinational corporations is vast and as American companies Visa and Mastercard must support democratic values.
It is in the interests of every international corporation to stop Russia, otherwise the world will soon see dictators taking over these corporations in a blink of an eye.

От предлагаемых действий пострадают только люди с картами из РФ, находящиеся за рубежом. В РФ и некоторых других странах карты Visa/MasterCard и после отключения продолжат работать через национальную систему платёжных карт. Международные бизнесы тоже могут проводить расчёты и другими методами. Данными мерами Visa/MasterCard могут только увеличить число жертв, но никак не противодействовать военным действиям. И жертвами будут невинные граждане, кто возможно сбежал из РФ, и у кого нет иных средств к существованию и получению денежных переводов.
