Eom Hong-gil, Korea's leading mountaineer, will climb the alpine mountain more than 6,000 meters above sea level for the first time in 17 years since 2007. 사설 토토사이트

Captain Um left for Kathmandu, Nepal, via Incheon Airport this afternoon (5th).

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Nepal, Captain Um, who organized the Korea-Nepal Friendship Expedition, will challenge the Himalayan climb with the members.

The summit is the Jugal Himalayan mountain range peak of Nepal.

One Jugal Peak (6,591 meters) and two Jugal Peak (6,518 meters), which Eom is seeking to climb, are unprecedented peaks that no one has conquered yet.

Um's age has been focusing on educational projects for Nepal's youth instead of climbing the alpine mountains since 2007, when he was 63 and 46 years old, when he climbed Loche-Shar (8,382m) in 2007, the first time in the world to climb 16 mountains more than 8,000m above sea level.

I asked Captain Eom, who was challenging to climb the mountain for the first time in 17 years, how he felt honestly.

"I'm half excited and half burdened. I couldn't sleep until 3 a.m. this morning. After 17 years, I'm old, and since I haven't climbed an alpine mountain in the meantime, I wondered if I could successfully finish it and come back. Still, only those who challenge can achieve it. I think challenges never end in life."

The challenge of Captain Um and the Korea-Nepal Friendship Expedition was designed to promote friendship and exchange with mountaineers from both countries.

The Nepalese government has also opened unanswered salaries, which have not been opened for the past 60 years, to Captain Um and colleagues, and has given them the benefit of exempting entry fees.

Chief Eom intends to name it "Korea-Nepal Ujeongbong" if he succeeds in climbing the 1st and 2nd jugal peaks of all unanswered.
