Il firmatario chiede alle autorità europee di impedire la vendita di tabacco in cattivo stato. Egli ritiene che non vengano effettuati controlli sull'età e la qualità dei prodotti del tabacco venduti nell'Unione europea e segnala l'esistenza di studi che evidenziano che il processo di fermentazione del tabacco dovuto al passare del tempo lo rende ancora più nocivo per la salute.
