Casino operator and developer Silver Heritage Group said it was seeking an out-of-court settlement over a dispute with a former consultant hired in Nepal.

Silver Heritage recently opened Bairahawa, a specially built gaming site near the border between the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. The resort cost an estimated $52 million in budget. 온라인경마사이트

Rajendra Vazgain, the company's former local consultant, is also the owner of a 5% stake in a local subsidiary that holds Tiger Palace's gaming license. The organization terminated his consulting contract on Feb. 22, but Vazgain started litigation in Nepal for the lottery.

Silver Heritage chairman David Green said in the group's annual report to the Australian Stock Exchange in late March that since the opening of Tiger Palace's casino (pictured) in late December, Vazgain has "set out a set of actions that have clearly been calculated to tarnish the group's reputation in Nepal and thwart its operations at Tiger Palace."

In an update on Friday, Silver Heritage said it had "agreed with Mr Bajgain to continue ongoing discussions to resolve disputes between the parties without further court action."

The company said it was nevertheless convinced Silver Heritage that the decision to split with Mr Vazgain was valid, although a Nepal court granted Mr Vazgain a temporary stay of termination of the consultant contract. "We believe we will eventually win when substantive issues are evoked in front of the court."
