Sanction Russia: Gazprombank and Sberbank to be excluded from SWIFT
On 2 March, the EU decided to exclude seven Russian banks from the international payment system SWIFT. The sanctions list (http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2022/346/oj) does not include Gazprombank - through which Russian gas deliveries are paid for - and Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia.
We call on the EU to stop financing the Ukraine war with gas purchases in Russia. Exclude Sberbank and Gazprombank from SWIFT.
