The petitioner requests the European Parliament’s support should Scotland choose to become independent from the UK before the conclusion of the negotiations on its withdrawal from the EU, in order to defend Scotland’s right to continue to be a member of the European Union and renegotiate independent membership in accordance with Article 48 of the Treaty on European Union.
