On February 24 2022, the Russian army has unjustifiably invaded Ukraine. While Russian officials claim no harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure, the reality tells a different story. Thus, on the night of February 26, Russian occupants stroke an oil depot in Vasylkiv, 40 km south from Kyiv and a gas pipeline in Kharkiv. While defending itself from the second largest army in the world, Ukraine is at the brink of an ecological catastrophe. Ukraine urgently needs an international humanitarian task force to mitigate the implications of these horrible events.
The explosion came next to the region I used to live in. My family and friends, along with millions of other people, cannot leave the city, with their health being constantly threatened.
