We, employees of Ukrainian branches of international companies operating in Ukraine and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry believe that in the circumstances of the brutal WAR, initiated by Russia against Ukraine it is against business ethical values (and even respective United Nations Resolution) to carry on business operations of international companies on the territory of Russia at times of WAR.
Moreover, taking an ethical stand and directly calling what is happening now in Ukraine a WAR resulting from brutal Russian aggression over Ukraine is essential while communicating with employees in Russia. It helps spreading the truth to Russian mothers of solders being sent to WAR, thus helping saving Ukrainian and Russian lives.
Therefore, we request from all business leaders of international companies:
1. Name it - the WAR, act of aggression of Russia – in all public statements towards Russian employees
2. Stop business operations in Russia!
3. Help donating and supporting Ukrainian Army, Red Cross, other humanitarian foundations.
