Betsson awarded eCOGRA’s safe and fair seal

As one of the world's largest gaming groups, Swedish operator Betson is the latest operator to receive the Safe and Fair Seal of the eCOGRA. The awarding of the seal is based on the achievement of the goal of player protection, fair gambling and responsible business conduct, which has followed a comprehensive field review by the eCOGRA's audit experts to ensure that they comply with the eCOGRA generally approved (eGAP) requirements.
The latest release of eGAP requirements takes into account the compliance requirements of various regulatory markets, including, where appropriate, CEN Workshop Agreement 16259:2014 Responsible Remote Gambling Measures, 2014 Recommendations by the European Commission for the Common Protection of Consumers of Online Gambling Services in the EU, the 4th EU Anti-Money Laundering Directive by the European Parliament, industry-related information security requirements outlined in ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and privacy principles outlined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
