Employees at the Belleville Shorelines casino formed a picket line in front of the Ontario-based casino on Friday. Employees of the gaming arena, owned and supervised by the Great Canadian gaming company, are unhappy with the recent failure of negotiations between the company and the Unipo Local 1090. 바카라사이트

On Friday, the two sides failed to reach an agreement in negotiations on worker wage increases as the picket line was formed early in the day, and some sources said the two sides were scheduled to resume negotiations later in the day to resolve the dispute and operate the casino normally.

On Monday, October 25, Chuck Keeling, vice president of the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, issued a statement regarding the workers' protest. According to Keeling, however, it is understandable that he thinks what happened at the casino over the weekend was illegal. He explained Saturday that protesters blocked customers and other staff from entering the parking lot through the main gate.

Unfortunately, the vice president did not go into detail about how the contract negotiations with Unipo went during his appearance in the media. However, discussions have been underway for months with his words, but 93 Unipo employees stopped working last Friday. He also described the blockade as "illegal and unsafe." The lockdown forced employees to park at nearby hotels or even on nearby roads.

Mr Keeling said the situation had eased slightly as of Sunday, with vehicles allowed at the Belleville game centre every 10 minutes. The vice president also announced that the casino was being run by management due to a significant portion of the staff's complaints.

Most recently, the Ontario Lottery and gaming company began issuing quarterly non-tax game revenue payments to Ontario municipalities. The City of Belleville received CA$591,000 payment for hosting Shoreline Casino Belleville in the second quarter or July 1, 2021 from the City of Belleville, according to the Local Government Donation Agreement.

The reduction in tax-free game allocation is unprecedented for some quarters, allowing casinos to be renewed in mid-July under Phase 3 of Ontario's business plan, and operating with limited player and game capacity.

Due to an agreement with OLG, Belleville received significant allocations from the Crown Agency to attract casinos that were later used to support local businesses and communities. From April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, the city's finances were able to cover approximately 2.9 million CA. One use of revenue was the purchase of new police vehicles and special aviation ladders and truck chassis for local fire stations.
