Awakenings Organizers
Our initiative is aiming to limit the presence of russian DJs/artists/musicians who support putin's regime on the EU music scene.
I.e. Awakenings organizers should block russian DJs (Nina Kraviz, Vlad Dubyshkin) from their line-ups. These artists are being ignorant of the war, afraid to speak up and therefore make a negative influence on society and, therefore, should not be allowed to enter the festival.
Considerations:
- Being russian and supporting the war is a definite NO-GO and the musicians/artists should not be allowed to any venues
- Being russian and remaining neutral also send a mixed message to the audience and promotes tolerance of the war crimes that russia is conducting in Ukraine.
Begründung
It is important to show unity and solidarity among the Ukrainian, European and Russian citizens when it comes to the war topic.
Russian celebrities have a large media influence on the local crowd across many social networks.
Restricting their business should reduce the (potential) bad influence to the festivals crowd, motivate them to be more present and help to deliver the message (#StopWar) to the russian people.
