Reason

Lee Jung-hoo (San Francisco) returned from injury perfectly and stepped on the base three times.

In an exhibition game against the Los Angeles Angels at Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, on the 21st (Korea time), Lee Jung-hoo started as the first batter and center fielder and recorded two hits, one walk and one RBI in two times at bat. He was 100% on base on the day and performed perfectly as a leadoff.

Lee Jung-hoo was replaced four times earlier than usual due to a thigh strain in the game against the Cincinnati Reds on the 14th. Since then, he has not played and adjusted his physical condition. After a re-examination on the 20th, he returned to the lineup after a week as no major problems were found.

Lee Jung-hoo's bat returns sharply.

In his first at-bat in the first inning, he gave up an infield hit to the second base against Tyler Anderson, the opponent's left-handed starter. In the third inning, with two outs and no runners on, he walked straight to get on base.

Lee also met Anderson with a two-out, third-base hit in the fifth inning. Lee replaced Anderson in the sixth inning to finish the game.

Lee's batting average rose to 0.400 (10 hits in 25 times at bat). His on-base plus slugging (OPS) is high at 1.083.

His performance on the day was especially meaningful, as he allowed two hits against left-handed pitchers. In the exhibition game, Lee's batting average against left-handed pitchers rose to 0.500 (3 hits in six at-bats).
