On the construction of a residential building near a Natura 2000 site in Debrecen, Hungary

The petitioner complains about the planned construction of a residential building in the direct vicinity of a Natura 2000 site, the Great Forest of Debrecen, which would result in irreversible environmental damage to habitats and protected species, contrary to the EU Habitats Directive. The petitioner argues that the building permit was issued in breach of the law and with disregard for the numerous court decisions rejecting it.
