On air pollution from the Rudeni landfill in Bucharest, Romania

The petitioner complains about the problem of toxic fumes and emissions that have ravaged the Chiajna locality and an area of Bucharest for several years. He is concerned about the risk to residents’ health, mainly due to the burning of waste and the emissions of hydrogen sulphide. He calls on the European institutions to take action, as he has not achieved any tangible results in recent years from the local Romanian authorities.
