IGSA President Peter DeRaedt is leaving at the end of the year

Peter Drate (pictured in file photo) will leave his position as president of the International Game Standards Association (IGSA) from Dec. 31, the press release said.
He says he has worked for IGSA and its predecessor, the Game Standards Association, for a total of 25 years.
Mark Pace, the current IGSA vice president, will act as acting chairman before announcing DeRaedt's successor at its first meeting in 2024.
On Thursday, the IGSA stated that Mr. DeRaedt will be given an honorary chairmanship for life in recognition of his work. He will serve as an advisor to the organization for the next two years.
In prepared remarks, the president of the association, Earl Hall, was quoted as saying the outgoing president's influence and contribution was "immense" and "led IGSA through numerous challenges and opportunities."
Mr. Hall added, "He leaves behind a strong and respected organization that prepares for continued success and innovation."
IGSA describes itself as the world's largest company dedicated to creating and developing technical standards for the global gaming industry.
