End Diplomatic Normalization: Expel the Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran

We, the undersigned citizens of Europe and supporters of human rights, call upon the leaders of the European Union and its Member States to take immediate and decisive diplomatic action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Why this is urgent:
For 47 years, the Islamic Republic has maintained power through systematic violence, terror, and the suppression of basic human rights. Today, the situation has reached a critical breaking point. The regime is currently executing a brutal crackdown on its own citizens, utilizing digital blackouts to hide its atrocities from the world. Innocent civilians are being slaughtered in the streets for demanding freedom.
Maintaining normal diplomatic relations with such a regime is no longer politically or morally justifiable. The presence of Islamic Republic ambassadors in our capitals sends a message of legitimacy to a government that is at war with its own people.

We demand that European Leaders:

1. Expel the Ambassadors: Immediately declare the Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran persona non grata and expel them from all EU Member States.
2. Downgrade Diplomatic Relations: Recall European ambassadors from Tehran and reduce diplomatic contact to the absolute minimum required for emergency consular services.
3. End the Silence: Publicly condemn the digital blackout and the massacres taking place, and act as the voice for the silenced Iranian people.

We refuse to let our governments remain neutral while crimes against humanity are committed. Standing with the people of Iran means ending the legitimacy of their oppressors.
