Located in Lorüns is a sport climbing crag that’s home to decades’ old historical routes. Described as a “meeting point” for both the old and younger generations of the Austrian climbing community.

Unfortunately, Lorüns is part of an area owned by a local quarry company and is under a constant and ever-increasing threat of destruction. 

We want to drive awareness to the crag’s impending threat. We hope that this special place stays alive.

This area deserves to be protected for us and future generations. This to so many local climbing crag and associated vibe generates and atmosphere that is uniquely motivating, builds community, provides a place to hang out and offers an outside playground for young and old. These kind of places are rare and important in a progressively digitized world.
