Fläche Wachtberg kann mit der KVB noch mehr

Die KVB plant, etwa 8 ha von insgesamt 40 ha Fläche einzunehmen. Somit verbleiben weitere sehr große Flächen, die durch die Bahnanbindung in den Folgejahren deutlich vereinfacht erschlossen werden können. Viele Arbeitsplätze (auch bei Gewerbesteuer-zahlenden Unternehmen) können entstehen.

zügige Flächenentwicklung möglich

Die Flächen gehören dem Unternehmen RWE, welches über den Verkauf entscheidet. Da das Unternehmen laut Pressemitteilungen einer KVB-Ansiedlung positiv gegenüber steht, erscheint als zeitlicher „Flaschenhals“ in der Umsetzung i.W. die Aufstellung des bauleitplanerischen Rahmens durch die Stadt Frechen. Dies ist zügig machbar.
