I don't want to support such adoptions, because the transport is immensely stressful for the animals, and for cats in particular. I adopted a cat from Hungary, and the stressful transport nearly killed him. And I know of many other examples. Therefore I think that initiatives to strengthen animal protection in the countries themselves are better for the animals.

I already don’t support moving dogs between countries in Europ, so from one continent to another is a big stretch. Easier imports invite abuse by illegal traders hiding behind NGOs, as already seen in Europe. This worsens overpopulation, with too many unadopted or rehomed animals from irresponsible owners. Furthermore, long-distance transport is stressful. If you care about solving animal cruelty then focus on local adoption or approved breeders, not importing across countries.

Rescuing Animals when there are Children in Gaza getting hungered and killed is secondary!! A Dog got Rescued in Gaza because of inhuman way of living in a Tent where a Human living in this Tent is ok?!!
