Brendan, Ewelina & their 2 young children Mia & Colin have been evicted from their Family Home in Brittas Co Dublin.

Brendan, a young father aged 44, has been advised he will face a custodial sentence if he does not remove the modest log cabin he has built on family land held for generations.

Brendan & Ewelina have moved their young family out of their only home they have ever known due to the fear of Brendan going to prison.
They are staying with a family friend.

Thankfully Mia & Colin can remain in the same school in Brittas, the same school that Brendan attended as a child.

The South Dublin County Council have refused Brendan & family on numerous planning retention applications and have advised they are unable to provide alternative accommodation.

Brendan is intrinsic to the area of Brittas as he was born and reared and working locally for local businesses as a qualified Welder with a genuine need to live in Brittas.

We are organising this petition to rally as many signatures as we can to present to the South Dublin County Council and all affiliated County Councillors to work with Brendan and his family to allow Brendan to KEEP his family home at no additional cost to the state and allow his family to stay in their home, where it is all they have ever known.

Home is where their story began, and Brendan & Ewelina are fearful of where their story will end.
