Achenseeschiffahrt profitiert auch von der Bahn

Die Achenseebahn ist ein herausragendes Merkmal der Achensee-Tourismus-Region. Durch sie kommen viele Gäste, aber auch viele Tagesbesucher, die z.B. am Seespitz dann umsteigen ins Schiff. So profitiert auch die Achenseeschifffahrt von der Bahn und der Ort Maurach.

Die Bahn ist ein lebendiges Denkmal. Vielleicht entspricht sie nicht streng denkmalschützerischen Kriterien; das ginge aber auch kaum, wenn man weiterhin Fahrbetrieb mit alten Dampfloks anbieten will. Schön wäre es die Bahn zu retten und auch weiterzuentwickeln. Leider verhaute die Führung unmittelbar nach Marchi die Zukunftspersepktiven der Bahn für viele Jahre. Daher ist es nun wichtig, den Betrieb unter neuere Führung aufrechtzuerhalten und vorläufig den Denkmalaspekt der Bahn in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Das das Geld z.T. zuerst aus der Region kommen muss, ist aber klar.

Achenseebahn

die Achenseebahn wurde vom alten Betriebsleiter in den Ruin geführt. Der ehemalige Betriebsleiter (Marchi) wurde fristlos entlassen,was bis heute bei den Gerichten liegt, ein Übereinkommen welches die Gerichte vorgelegt haben wurde von der AB abgelehnt. Im Vorjahr wurde vom alten Betriebsleiter alte Zuggarnituren von einem Schweizer Bahnunternehmen gekauft und um Tausende €ros nach Jenbach gebracht und stehen zum Verrosten am Bahnhof. Da kann man für eine Rettung nicht dafür sein.
