Das autonome Fahren hat genau nichts mit Autobesitz zu tun. (Schon jetzt besteht die Möglichkeit, sich von einem Taxi abholen zu lassen).

Flexibel verfügbare Rufbusse können nur vollatomatisiert 24h verfügbar sein.

Busse auf Abruf, z.B. in entlegenen Wohngebieten oder kleinen Ortschaften sind nur automatisiert effizient zu betreiben. Welcher Lenker soll sich denn Stunden in einen Van setzen, um auf jeden Fahrgast zu warten, der z.B. zur nächsten Bahnhaltestelle, bzw. Hauptbusanbindung gebracht werden will ?

Innenstädte sind überflutet von perkenden Autos. Über 90% der Zeit steht ein Auto und nimmt Platz weg. Nur durch ein Netz von autonom fahrenden Carsharing Autos, die per App bestellt innerhalb von 5 Minuten vor der Tür stehen kann die Masse der Städter davon überzeugt werden, auf ein eigenes Auto zu verzichten. Das schafft Platz für Fahrradwege und Wohnraum.
