Petition richtet sich an: Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

We, the undersigned students, are currently in the process of applying for student visas for the upcoming intake. We understand that the embassy has recently introduced a new requirement for recognition, likely for important reasons. However, we are concerned that the processing time for this new requirement, which is expected to take 30-45 days, could result in significant delays, preventing us from starting our academic programs on time.

We kindly request that such changes be communicated earlier in the future, allowing students sufficient time to prepare. In light of the current situation, we respectfully ask the embassy to reconsider this decision and to provide some flexibility or leniency, so that we may proceed with our visa applications without undue delay.

Begründung

This petition is crucial because the newly introduced requirement for recognition by the embassy significantly impacts students' ability to obtain their student visas in time for the upcoming academic intake. The processing time for this requirement, which can take 30-45 days, poses a serious risk of delaying or even preventing students from starting their studies on schedule.

For many students, beginning their academic programs on time is essential not only for their education but also for securing housing, financial aid, and other logistical arrangements that are tied to their enrollment. Delays in obtaining a visa can disrupt these plans, leading to financial strain, missed educational opportunities, and unnecessary stress.

By reconsidering the timing and implementation of this requirement, the embassy can help ensure that students are able to pursue their education without unnecessary obstacles. This petition seeks to address this concern and advocate for a more student-friendly process, which is vital for the academic and personal success of all affected students.
