IMF: Stop Cooperation with the Russian Federation NOW

Due to Putin's invasion of Ukraine, the IMF must immediately:

1. Immediately terminate all cooperation between the IMF and Russian Federation
2. Officially condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine
3.  Dismiss Russian Executive Director Alexei Mozhin from the IMF’s Executive Board
4. Close the IMF office in the Russian Federation
5.  Suspend operations of the IMF in Russia including use of the Special Drawing Rights to prevent utilization of the IMF’s funds for fueling Russian war against Ukraine

Description:

On February 24 the Russian Federation launched a full-scale war on Ukraine. In the course of its’ brutal unprovoked invasion, the Russian military consciously targets civil infrastructure and urban areas of Ukrainian cities including Kharkiv, Mariupol, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Okhtyrka, Bucha and many more.  Two weeks of fierce Russian aggression against Ukraine have resulted in more than 1200 confirmed civil casualties including 100 children. More than 3 million refugees fled from war-affected regions within Ukraine and abroad. Billions of dollars in destroyed houses, businesses, roads, electrical stations and infrastructure. Ukrainian cities occupied by Russian military became places of humanitarian disaster as the population is deprived of access to basic needs such as water, food, medical services and public utilities.
