On increased weekend air pollution in Bucharest and Ilfov, Romania

The petitioner claims that for the past months there has been an inexplicable and dangerous rise in air pollution levels in Bucharest and Ilfov during weekends, in particular in what concerns PM10 and PM2.5 particles. He claims that the Romanian authorities are not properly investigating these spikes and asks for the intervention of the European bodies, in order to safeguard the health and well-being of the local population.
