This week, Scientific Games and longtime partner Lotto-Quebec won the esteemed Gutenberg Award at the 40th Gala Gutenberg. Both companies won prestigious awards for their instant games of 'Plant Madness' or 'Plant Madness' made from 100% recycled paper. The title was one of the first instant games printed on recycled fiber. 바카라사이트
The Gutenberg Awards is the premier event in Quebec's printing industry, highlighting the talent, creativity and know-how of printing professionals. In this year's issue, the Gutenberg Awards also added categories that highlight the sustainability of reusable and recyclable products. And this is another example of a successful union of companies.
The Crown Corporation and game developer have created a sustainable instant game model for the lottery industry. After years of testing, the two produced 100% recyclable games at Scientific Games' Montreal Instant Game Production Facility in 2021 using water-based ink on recycled and Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper stocks provided by the provincial sustainable paper company Sustana Group.
Since the first release of this kind of title in 2021, the two companies have produced five more games based on 100% recyclable paper. Their names are award-winning Plant Madness, Evasion, Code Secret, SLINGO 10X, C'est Quieton sign. The developer first produced the first instant game for the Crown Agency more than 50 years ago, and is a major instant game partner for the state lottery.
In June 2021, the two companies further cemented their partnership when Scientific Games announced that AGS would debut in the country through its OpenGaming™ platform. The agreement gave the platform access to more than 3,000 gaming titles from one of the industry's leading third-party vendors. The first title to debut in The Crown's portfolio was cartoonish pig-themed Larkin Bacon!
Isabelle Jean, vice president and chief operating officer of Lottery Games for the Crown, shared that the games printed on 100% recycled paper inventory are innovations made possible through the perfect relationship between Crown, Custana Group, and the provider. She thanked and congratulated all the relevant teams for their tremendous efforts on the project and helped reduce environmental damage.
Marc-Andre Doyon, Canada's vice president of Scientific Games, commented that the team was honored to receive such an award for meaningful sustainability innovation with its partner Crown Company. He added that the two companies will try to lead the international lottery industry, which provides instant games in an eco-friendly and sustainable way.
