Dear all,
Thank you again for supporting the petition to reopen the swimming pool at the Beach Club in Hesperange. Thanks to you, we have already shown that this pool is important for families, children and residents. I have attached a file where we explained in detail all the steps we have taking towards our objective. Please read it.
However, the reality on the ground is very disappointing. The Beach Club is often closed, even though it is officially announced as open every day in summer. The water games and family facilities that were promised as a “Plan B” are simply not there.
If we stay silent, nothing will change. We now need every signer to act:
- Talk about the situation with your friends, neighbours, colleagues and other parents.
Share the petition again and invite more people to sign.
- Send polite but firm emails to the commune (mayor, échevins, council members) asking why the pool remains closed, why the Beach Club is so often closed, and why the promised water games have not been installed.
- Call or write to local media and explain what you see in the park and how this affects your children and daily life.
Each message, each email, each complaint counts. The more noise we make, the harder it is to ignore families and children.
We started this petition to defend a simple right: safe, accessible and public water spaces in summer for all children in Hesperange. We will continue to inform you of every development, but we need you to stand with us and make your voices heard.
