What are arguments in favour of the petition?

Frau Kasslater will den Schulanfang ja vorverlegen und das Schulende zurückverlegen, sprich eine Woche mehr im Juni. Das ist aber derzeit in der Mittelschule nicht möglich, denn die Mittelschulprüfung muss innerhalb 30. Juni abgeschlossen sein (s. Staatsgesetz).
