Petition is addressed to: Direction of the Pasteur Institut

The management of the Institut Pasteur has announced to part of the staff the forthcoming closure of the Boutique Enzymes, without any prior information to or consultation with the Social and Economic Committee (CSE), even though this decision, which is economic and social in nature, has direct consequences for work organization and employment. This is contrary to the French Labor Code.

Following the formal alert sent on 24 December 2025 by the STRP-CGT, the response stating that “a reflection is underway” cannot be considered sufficient, since concrete elements have already been communicated to staff. This “reflection” is especially surprising given that the survey conducted in 2024 showed a 95% satisfaction rate with the services provided by the Boutique Enzymes.

The Boutique Enzymes is an essential local service for many teams, ensuring responsiveness, expertise, and continuity of scientific activity. No consultation of users or assessment of the impact of this closure on their daily work appears to have been carried out.
