Petition addressed to: Social media companies and their policy decision-makers (such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram/Threads, TikTok, and other digital platforms).

When victims of violence are made invisible, more than just reach is being limited.

Today, it happens more and more often that posts about abuse, intimate partner violence, or sexual violence are removed or made less visible on social media.

Even when those posts are specifically intended to inform, warn, or support victims.

Think, for example, of posts that explain toxic relationships, femicide, or boundary violations — these are sometimes automatically flagged as “offensive” and disappear.

That has real consequences.

Less visibility means:
- less access to information
- less recognition for victims
- less chance of finding help

And so, silence is imposed once again — this time online.

Of course, moderation is necessary.
But today, it often happens without context, which means the wrong kind of content gets targeted.

That is why this petition calls for fairer and clearer moderation on social media, so that awareness content about violence and abuse is no longer unfairly restricted.

Victims do not need censorship.
They need visibility.

So let’s break the silence together.

Reason

Recognition and accessible information matter.

That is why I created an online platform to inform and raise awareness about abuse, violence, and psychological harm.

My content (photos, videos, articles, written posts, and podcasts) is not meant to shock, but to help, to warn, and to make visible what too often remains hidden behind closed doors.

That is exactly why it affects me so deeply when this kind of content is unfairly restricted or removed on social media — as if victims are being silenced all over again, only this time digitally.
This petition therefore comes not only from conviction, but also from personal experience.

Social media platforms must address genuinely harmful content,
but they also need to learn the difference between dangerous content and necessary awareness content.
