Elk kind heeft recht op onderwijs, daarin zit ook opvang begrepen. Niet iedere ouder heeft daguren. Er zijn ook mensen die in ploegsysteem werken en niet kunnen rekenen op opvang door grootouders!

Zonder voldoende kwaliteitsvolle kinderopvang in alle wijken van Gent krijgen zowel kinderen als ouders minder kansen, meer zorgen en meer stress...

Ik ben leerkracht op de Wijze Eik en wij hebben ook geen stibo. Wij moeten alles uit eigen pot halen om opvang voor onze kinderen te voorzien. Wij zijn ook een Gentse school, ofwel alle Gentse scholen Stibo ofwel niemand Stibo, dit wordt al jaren aangekaart bij stad Gent, gelijk voor alle scholen, al onze kinderen hun ouders betalen ook gemeentebelasting. De stadsscholen hebben al jaren kunnen profiteren van wat andere scholen niet hebben.
