14 miljoen investeren in een enorm verbruik van grondwater. Lijkt het niet logischer om jobcreatie te doen in het behoud van grondwater of een sociaal/maatschappelijk relevant thema? Overheidssubsidies laten gaan naar een luxeproduct, bestemd voor rijken die zo weeral ten koste van milieu kunnen verrijken? Een ongezonde tendens die steeds vaker voorkomt.

Waarom geen verzet tegen buitenlandse (Amerikaanse) multinationals wat overal in België en Europa mega datacenters bouwen? Hoeveel energie en water verbruiken deze! Laat de Belgische ondernemers gerust of binnen afzienbare tijd zullen de multinationals alles in handen hebben.

Ik ben zeker tegen het verspillen van drinkwater! Alleen: als ik zie dat mensen tijdens de droge periode hun oprit schoonspuiten of in de middagzon hun gazon denken te moeten besproeien, dan zie ik het water toch liever gebruikt voor kaviaarproductie of eender welk product dat in de economie belandt indien iemand dit überhaput woil consumeren.
