Petition addressed to: the municipality of Linz

I wonder why I have to pay € 16,40 for the electronical dispatch of the registration certificate instead of € 2,10 when appearing personally at the municipal service center. You can by no means convince me that one additional mouseclick justifies such an impertinent extra charge.

The above mentioned certificate is necessary for the application of the rent subsidy and must be annually renewed by the entitled individuals.

Especially physically and mentally disabled persons as well as socially vulnerable people are forced to cover quite a long distance across the whole city by using public transport in order to spare this excessive additional tax.

I will not fail to inform you about the reason for all this: Nowadays, in the 21st century, there still exists a valid version of an ancient Fiscal Fees Act which in its origins dates back to the historical year of 1957!! This is really incredible!!!

The featured procedure is far from being citizen-friendly and, above all, absolute inadequate in the contemporary era of digital communication and can therefore no longer be tolerated!!

I urgently do appeal to you: Please support me in abolishing rhis obsolete law by signing the adjacent petition.
