Die Brücke ermöglicht den Zugang zu einem naturnahen Naherholungsgebiet für Döbling und Wien. Aus klosterneuburger Sicht bedeutet es, dass diese Strecke keine Sackgasse ist und man einen Ausgang Richtung Wien hat.

Die uferseitige Strecke ist eine gute Möglichkeit Rennradverkehr und Familienverkehr zu trennen.

ein naturbelassener Rad- u. Fußgängerweg neben der Donau wäre schade, nicht mehr genutzt zu werden

Die Brücke ist eine elegante Möglichkeit kostengünstig die Kapazität der Strecke zu erhöhen. Eine Transformation des Verkehrs in Richtung weg von fossilen Brennstoffen ist notwendig, das wäre ein guter Schritt in diese Richtung.

Kosten-Nutzen-Relation

Nach Fertigstellung der B14 Hangbrücke steht die verkehrsberuhigte Fahrradstraße wieder zur Verfügung. Damit ist eine familientaugliche Radverbindung gegeben. Eine Brücke kostet bei der Ertüchtigung für den Dauerbestand und in der Erhaltung viel Geld, das besser in den Ausbau wichtigerer Fahrrad- und Fußgängeranlagen im 19. Bezirk gesteckt werden sollte.

Diese Brücke ist nicht im Eigentum der Stadt Wien, diese Brücke ist eine Leihgabe der Baufirma. Somit kann die Stadt Wien das nicht entscheiden. Ich selbst finde diese Brücke großartig, weil sie mir eine gute Möglichkeit bietet, mit dem Hund eine schöne Lobaurunde zu gehen. Aber geborgt ist geborgt, und demnächst ist der ursprüngliche Zustand wieder hergestellt und das war auch ein guter, gegen den nichts spricht
