Petition is addressed to: The organisers of LAV - Lisboa Ao Vivo festival
Supporting chants or statements that call for the death of anyone or any group is morally wrong and dangerous. Stand against hate speech and incitement in all its forms, and promote events where respect, peace, and inclusivity come first. Please join the appeal to cancel Bob Vylans performance at Lisboa Ao Vivo festival on the 8th of October.
Reason
Bob vylan is coming to Lisbon for a music festival. Their performance is planned for the 8th of October. A day after the memorial day of the 7th of October. After the Glastonbury show where the band leader reportedly chanted on stage words of incitement, the crowd chants after him and his incitement words where amplified in many cities around the world. Little look inside the bands page and what supporters comments look like, you can see how hate speech and incitement work.
These words of incitement are going to birth terrible actions. It doesn't even matter what they "meant to say". Already people are using the vylans words to justify a call for action against us. Wake up before it's too late and help ban this band.
