The cafeteria at Wettingen Cantonal School has been reserving 50% of the tables for cafeteria consumers for over a year. This leads to a lack of space, especially in winter, so that students have to sit on the floor if they don't buy food. This practice promotes social inequality, as only paying guests are allowed to sit. At the same time, it violates Article 3 of the canteen cooperative statutes, which explicitly do not allow compulsory consumption. In fact, however, this is enforced by the reservations and the behavior of the staff. This contradicts the principles of the canteen as a place for all students to spend time.
Justification

Reason

The current rule of reserving 50% of the tables in the cafeteria at Wettingen Cantonal School for consumers is unacceptable. It leads to a lack of space, social inequality and contradicts the statutes of the canteen cooperative, which do not allow compulsory consumption. Students should not be forced to sit on the floor while empty tables remain blocked. The number of reserved tables must be massively reduced in order to offer everyone equal space and make the cafeteria an open place for everyone again.
