New petition description: Mit Erdgas aus Nord Stream 1 finanziert die Europäische Union direkt das Russische Regime rund um Putin, welcher mittlerweile einen aggressiven, faschistischen Staatsapparat errichtet hat. Um die weitere Aggression gegen osteuropäische Nachbarstaaten zu stoppen, ist es unsere Pflicht all dies durch die Außerbetriebnahme von Nord Stream 1 zu bremsen.Warum gerade Nord Stream 1?Durch die Ostsee-Pipeline fließen jährlich 60 Milliarden m³ Erdgas, was ein Drittel der Gasversorgung durch Russland bedeutet. Diese Pipeline verbindet Russland und Deutschland direkt und umgeht Ukraine als alternatives Transitland. Ein Stop von Nord Stream 1 würde die Ukraine in der Rolle als Transitland stärken und gleichzeitig einen massiven Hebel zur Friedenswiederherstellung in der Ukraine bewirken. ----------------------------------------------------------------
Gas imports from Russia, which are most commonly transported through North Stream 1 pipeline, finance the Russian regime around Putin. Natural gas can thus directly be linked to Putin‘s aggression against Ukraine. To put a stop to Russian expansionism and neo-imperialist aggression in Eastern Europe, it is our duty to stop funding Putin’s wars by shutting down North Stream 1.
Why North Stream 1?
One third of Russia’s annual gas exports - 60 billion m³ of natural gas per year - are transported through North Stream 1. The pipeline directly connects Russia and Germany and thereby bypasses Ukraine as an alternativ transit route.
Stopping North Stream 1 would strengthen Ukraine‘s role as an important and safe transit country for Russian gas. Moreover, the possible reduction of Russian gas imports by one third would be massive leverage in the negotiations to achieve peace in Ukraine.

Щоб зупинити поширення цієї агресії на подальшу Східну Європу, наш обов’язок зупинити все це, зупинивши принаймні "Північний потік-1".Чому "Північний потік-1"?Через Північний потік-1 надходить 60 мільярдів м³ природного газу на рік, що становить третину російських поставок газу. Цей трубопровід безпосередньо з’єднує Росію та Німеччину та обходить Україну як альтернативний транзит.Зупинка "Північного потоку-1" зробила б Україну більш важливою для Росії як безпечної транзитної країни, а скорочення імпорту газу на третину було б керованим і було б потужним важелем для досягнення миру в Україні.
