Die parlamentarische Immunität ist ein wichtiges Instrument, das die Legislative davor bewahrt, von der Exekutive verfolgt zu werden. Es ist Teil der Gewaltentrennung und fundamental für einen demokratischen Rechtstaat. Bei groben Verstößen oder falsch im Nationalrat mehrheitlich beschlossen kann diese aufgehoben werden.
