ski injuries and covid stats

Swiss Skier Days = between 23 to 28 Million per Season. Injury Rate of 2.8/1000 skier days = about 60,000+ people needing medical attention per year... Compact this into a six month ski season... https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-319-52755-0_3 In a covid health emergency another 60K visits combine to stress the system... I live in Whistler and am waiting to see covid numbers about Dec 16 to 20 when we'll see if skiing and covid mix.
