Reason
I am a lifelong resident and community member of East Limestone. Our families have been generations long attendees of East Limestone High. We have spent our lives building this great foundation in this small part of our county that we love so much. I cannot sit idly by and let officials shove our children out of their own schools.

I am a parent of a student affected by the proposed rezoning, which would put a major strain on not just my child attending school, but on the entire household.

I disagree with this rezoning for many reasons!

My child will have to leave the community he knows. Ardmore is 25 minutes away from us. The gas needed to make this trip twice a day in a truck would be ridiculous on one income. The alternative is a more than one hour long bus ride which I don't agree with. Our house value will be brought down. If we decide to move, no one will want our house if they have kids. No one wants to drive that far. This is the worst time to move if we wanted to be closer to Ardmore. Interest rates are sky high. The list goes on and on but these are our top reasons.

Re-Zoning idea needs to be reconsidered and really thought over before proceeding.
