Exorbitant Bobby Jones residential greens fees

The residential greens fees recently published for Bobby Jones, our local ‘municipal’ golf course, are egregious, even though Sarasota residents paid the taxes to fund millions in so-called improvements. Now, with BJ slated to open soon, we can’t afford to play there,,,it’s just too expensive. Let the ‘snow birds’ pay the $100* fees, but give residents a break…more than the 10% discount now envisioned. That’s a slap in the face.
