A Maison Relais needs space, like «Op Fréinen». An efficient bus system can ensure the journey Maison Relais-School. There will be enough parking for parents to take their children there in the morning and pick them up at noon or in the evening. The children from the Maison Relais could, without the organization of transport, participate independently in their sports activities, if age allowes. Also for the Maison Relais new activities would be offered because the forest and the hiking trails are right next door.
We agree that the Maison Relais is too small, but:
with a “Maison Relais” next to the playground, the last public meadow in the village center disappears. Where should children stay, meet or play quietly, especially those who have no greenery near their home (eg Jongmëtt,…)? Where can children with their parents, teenagers and elderly people find a place to meet or sit comfortably on a bench?
