Verzoekschrift gericht aan: Genimmo Services

We are petitioning for a reduction on this month's (July 2025) rent given that the contractual obligations have not been met. Since the residents of the Galileo building in Belvas (31 Pte de France) have not had access to warm water at least since week 28 (7-11 Jul), we believe we are entitled to the reduction in utilities we pay every month.

Reden

We want to send a unified request to Genimmo, the Agency in charge of renting out the building, that the residents of the building believe we have the right to compensation for the lack of access to warm water.

Hartelijk dank voor jullie steun, Hana Marcetic, Esch sur Alzette

Nieuws

  • Dear petition signatories,

thank you for signing this petition!

We have notified iGest and Genimmo about it, though they so far made no comments on the content. As you might be aware, recent communication from the building gestion notified us that there will be more works on the water heating soon, and periods of hot water inaccessibility seem to be continuing. As a Tennants association, at the moment we are monitoring the situation and assessing the need for future steps.

Most of you may have seen the press coverage that this action resulted in

Similarly, your signatures gave wind to the issue being raised in parliament twice:

your actions have power. We hope you will continue to support your Tennant's association in bringing better living conditions and guarding the rights of so many of us who have lived in the Galileo residence.

    Best,
    Galileo Residence Tennant's Association
